Any laser printer or copier with fuser oil. Not every type of paper suits every machine. Normally QMS-Minolta, Xerox, Tektronix, Epson printers are OK. Canon, Xerox, Minolta, Ricoh copiers are OK. Some printers have very hot fuser pinch rolls and are no good for transfer papers. If in doubt call us, fax us or e.mail us a message.

Very few transfer papers can be used on black and white laser printers because they have very hot pinch rolls and the upper layer of the paper may melt. For this type of machine we have transfers that release only the toner and can be used on cardboard, aluminium, leatherette book bindings, etc.

Our new inkjet transfers resist to washing just as laser transfers do. Although inkjet printers are inexpensive, the cost to make a transfer, however, is much greater for inkjet, both because of the costs of papers and inks. If you are going to make transferring a profession we suggest laser printers. They allow you to print on any surface and there cost is going down.

Yes, we have a new single-step transfer that saves time and money. With this transfer we have solved the old double passage problem – first laying a white background and then transferring on top of it. It’s a thin transfer so it has a very soft feel.

No, for printing on mugs and tiles we have transfer for laser copiers and printers.

By using our transfers for laser printers or copiers with a heat-press or our water decals or hand applicable transfers (without heat-press). Items customized with these specialities are only ornamental, they are not suitable for washing machines or direct sunlight. Laser transfers for heat-pressing release only toner and are ideal for ceramic tiles and stiff materials.

You are probably not using enough pressure or using a high level printing quality (over 720 dpi). If you are using a house-hold heat iron, place the garment on a very firm table e press with both hands in order to put your body’s whole weight on it. Use the large section of the iron because the point never gets hot enough. If you are using a heat-press be sure that it’s temperature is actually the one you set. There could be up to 10°C difference. Use a digital thermometer or paper test strips.
